Wonderful

The big territory - shared space of 6 hotels, where you can walk or run along the sea, a lot of swimming pools. Location in the bay. Polite and attentive personnel. Cleanliness. High quality and variability of food. Live music in the evening, professional shows - dancing performances. Good for divers. The majority of guests were from Poland and Germany, which is comfortable personally for me.

A place you want to come again to

Several hotels are planned as one space, you can enjoy beautiful territory and facilities of all of them. Nice reef and sea. Almost total absence of annoying ones living at the Southern shore of Arctic Ocean.

Our building was not the newest in the hotel complex, so was the room. But the great sea-view made us forget about those little things which need to be refurbished

Jaz Lamaya .... Thank you for the happiness we had there.

I was amazed by the quality of the Staff you have there, they were so friendly, helpful and smiling all the time. The food quality was amazing, I enjoyed all the meals.

That I Had to leave the resort, I wish I could stay more, I planned with my wife that we will go back to the resort during spring time and before it gets too hot there.

What was the highlight of Jaz Lamaya Resort

Great resort with average food and a bit annoying staff

The resort is huge, modern, kept in good condition and very clean. Room are specious, clean and with all all facilities. Water in swimming pool is very clean. I don't know how they do it, but they don't use chlorine, what's great. Beach is very nice with access to snorkeling spot on site. Sunbeds, but in general all furniture, are almost like new.

Even though the resort is great there are things I don't like and should be changed/improved. First, check-in was nicely done, but I missed a short tour or explanation what the resort offers. Second, mostly staff is ok, some were great but there are also such who just try to do nothing or focus on those from which they think they will get a tip. For example I came to the sunbed at the same time as an elderly couple from Germany. Someone immediately brought mattresses for them and didn't even ask me if I wanted them. The same during serving meals - there are waiters who even they carry plates to some guests and won't even ask others what to drink. Third, the choice of food is very large, but unfortunately some of the dishes are not tasty at all - the meat was usually dry, the mousse had a pudding-like consistency, etc. Also, I've noticed that whenever a bigger group of Germans arrived served food was much better. Fourth, animators seems to be not prepared. They weren't able to convince people to join and also I think people weren't up to them because they saw how they look like. However, evening's live concerts were really nice. Fifth, it was hard to fall asleep on a sunbed or even relax because someone was constantly coming to offer something - massage, trip, snorkeling or diving, etc. It would be enough to tell during introduction what's available and then allow guests to come for more information of they are interested. People come to relax, not to be hassled all day. The thing I don't like the most is to be treated like a second-class guest. Normally question "where are you come from?" is a start of a small talk, but at the resort I sometimes had an impression it's to check if you're worth the attention or not. For sure if the resort wants to get better reviews should improve the situation with the staff, especially those at restaurant.

The food is varied and has something for everyone. The service is attentive and quick. The hotel offers a great restaurant with three meals a day. In the evening there is a good selection of drinks in various places. The perfect location in the bay with direct access to the reef is unbeatable.

The Jaz resorts are all together but function separately...

The Jaz resorts are all together but function separately meaning we couldn't use the pool closest to our room because it actually was part another Jaz resort. Made for some frustrations. Also the reef is all along the shore at the resort making actual beach access difficult. Need to enter the water off a jetty or walk nearly a km around the bay.

This is what a resort should be like.

I liked everything about the place, the staff are incredible, the location is beautiful, everything is set out nicely, the food was amazing, there was always sometging to do, everyone who worked there would go out of there way to help you and make your stay better, i would of paid twice as much as i did and still thought it was good value. No doubt I'll be going back for another holiday at jaz lamaya resort.

There was nothing i didn't like about the property.

I loved this place, and I would definitely return

This was a great relaxing holiday, especially if you dive or snorkel. The staff are excellent, very friendly and are always willing to help you. Istayed at the Jazz Samaya, which I preferred having seen the other adjacent hotels.

Initially the internet access was poor, but by the end of my stay it seemed to improve.

No price list for locals and all guests are charged in Euro at tourists rates! Food was tasteless however tourists were enjoying it! Lamaya is sharing the location with 2 other hotels .. but same things apply. Solaya is even worth!

Hands down the BEST resort in Marsa Alam!

Everything was just amazing! The beach, heated pools, jacuzzi, snorkeling, simply everything! Not to mention that all facilities were baby friendly and barrier free. And the staff were by far the most friendly and hospitable resort staff I have ever met! I absolutely recommend Jaz for anyone visiting Marsa Alam; singles, couples and families alike!

What was the highlight of Jaz Lamaya Resort

Wonderful time and remarkable memories

We loved the idea of Coraya bay with multiple hotels in the same area, with some shared facilities (like the aqua park, shops, restaurant, stage with shows....etc). For Jaz Lamaya itself, it was very clean and organized, with management paying much attention to all the little details! At the reception we were welcomed by Osama who completed our check-in in a couple of minutes, he was very helpful and offered suggestions for activities to do during our stay. The buffet food was delicious, the pools were conveniently heated, the beach was nice, all the staff smiling and always willing to help! The animation team were very hard working (Sara and Victor were hilarious), providing various sorts of entertainment all the time at the pool and the beach, and specially in the daily night shows! We loved the place and we'll definitely visit again!

The buffet desserts variety was quite limited, mostly consisting of cakes with different colors plus fruits, and the juices (included in all-inclusive) were all "powder" drinks like Tang or something, which didn't taste that good. Fresh juices were for extra charge.

*The prepration for sunset : Music , stuff with drinks , seat area And the view for the sunset is wonderful. *stuff always smile and very helpful *reciption is very responsive *house keeping very polite and helpful *very large area of beach with lots of facilities And wonderful view Plust the reef you can see varity of fish swiming near you . *very close to porto galeb international Marine Which have lots of sea trip and the Very special trip THE NEFERTARI BOAT which is 5 stars and One of a kind in egypt
